Never heard this particular song (and haven’t had a lawn to mow in years), but I do know the general experience. I cannot get work done with lyrical music in my head. At least not in English. I remember sitting down to do paperwork and spending the next hour trying to sing the bridge of Rap God (the Arianna Grande-style version)
I never NOT have a song running through my head. The soundtrack of my life exists between my ears. And sometimes … it gets a little freaky. I might catch sight of a word or whatever, and that will springboard a song into my head. The other day it was a brand name “Sanofi” … 24 hours later I still had “Gangnam Style” running through my brain.
I also have the problem of getting “one song to the tune of another” stuck in there … so, the words of Imagine, by John Lennon, to the tune of the Muppet Theme. A Whiter Shade of Pale (Procul Harem) to the tune of “My Old Man’s a Dustman”.
I tell you, the inside of my head is a scary place to live.
Huh… I haven’t heard “Two of Hearts” very often, but when I did, I thought it was by Madonna.
Then again, I originally thought that “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” was also by Madonna (it’s by Cindy Lauper). That’s not an uncommon misconception, I’ve learned.

I totally mistook Stacey Q for Suzi Q.
I have no idea who Stacey Q is.
Just wait until Taylor Dayne’s “Tell It To My Heart” gets stuck in your head. There’s no hope for you then!

“Stacey’s Mom,” perhaps? A towel-clad MILF telling me that I missed a spot would be welcome motivation.
I mean, it’s better than getting Queen of Hearts stuck in your head.
I totally understand your dilemma Adam. I mean, is it possible to hear Two of Hearts without dancing like they do in Hot Rod?
