Definitely one of the better strips you have made, oh and oranges hurt the most, a bag of oranges are actually a quite deadly weapon and sometimes used in insurance fraud since getting hit once or twice can leave bruises and cracked skin, as well as cause broken bones and internal bleeding…I'm the master of fun =D.
If you want to use the citric acids, lemons are way more effective. Not only are they more acidic, but their aerodynamic shape can make them hit really hard.
Cucumbers may look like good weapons, but they’re mostly water, and will break when they hit a human skull.
good lord adam how late at night do u go to sleep? uploding this stuff at 12:00 am O_O .. alough.. i'm the one up at 3 in the morning. >_> oh well at least i don't do this 5 days a week for sevral years. XD that's dedication right there!
A friend told me to read this strip a couple weeks ago, and now I've read through your archives twice. Just wanted you to know that you are brilliant, Adam.
The closest I can think of is "hole" grain puncture wounds.
Maybe the food fights would fare better if the bugs were all Fruit Ninjas. Of course, they might have trouble with granola shanks. Fiber is *always* my weapon of choice.
made me sadface a bit, remembering highschool (Apples were a common torture device… I’ve had for than a couple broken bones from them).
Alternatively, I’d like to say that Apples hurt far more than Oranges if they hit bone (Oranges squish, Apples don’t really), and oranges hurt a little bit more than apples if they hit squishy parts (It’s easier to get more momentum behind an orange, as it’s shape is closer to a baseball.)
Or you could just use a carrot as a shank.
Hahaha oh my god, last panel made me laugh so hard i totally forgot about my aching arm (i think it might be broken). I love you BUG!!!

Oranges? Really? I thought they’d be more squishy. If you have open wounds I suppose the citrus acids could be a problem…

Pineapples are way better…
Frozen Twinkies do *substantially* more damage. Meanwhile grapes are almost pleasant to get hit with — unless your mouth is wide open…
This is when i make a grape machine gun.
I keep saying it. Granola is deadly.
All of a sudden I'm getting the urge to throw twinkies at small children. Am I a bad person?
No same here
This was effectively my childhood.
Marvelous comic today. 🙂

I've always assumed he uses an auto-uploader so fans don't start complaining when it's 1AM with no comic.
I agree with everyone's comments. This comic is brilliant. I'm surprised Adam can keep coming up with this stuff.
The 3rd strip with the "comparing apples and oranges" was the best one imo.
I agree. Definitely made me lawl!
i cincur – brilliant hidden joke there – made me feel superior cos i spotted it
even though i have no right to feel superior, given that i can’t type the word ‘concur’
Heavens, another drive by fruiting.
Ouch an apple at 40mph
What a way to go
Panel #3 – Brilliant. "I can't compare".
Wish my hippie parents tried to make a point w/ me.
Dawwww!! Baby bug is adorable! Another brilliant comic. I need not say more.

Adam your parenting is inspiring. Granola shanks part of a well balanced breakfast.
Keep them away from prisons. Or, were they produced in prisons?
Produced? Wrong isle buddy. Awesome pun.
Adam your parenting skills are off the chart amazing haha
3rd panel is tremendous! I feel like I'm missing some subtlety or wordplay in the phrase "whole grain puncture wounds"
The closest I can think of is "hole" grain puncture wounds.

Ahahaha! Awesome! Every panel made me laugh, especially "I can't really compare."
I was starting to worry that I was the only one who got that joke.
Fiber IS a weapon. A Weapon of Ass Destruction – trust me :[
I'd think a good fresh apple would hurt more. . oranges are a lil more squishy and all.
I LOVE this one! "Whole grain puncture wounds, " for the win!!!
"Apples or Orange" is a perfect analogy Adam.
love the baby bug
Hahahah LOVE it
Sock of butter! /shot

It makes me sad that I know this.
No more twinkies… I guess I’ll have to find something else to throw at infants.
Apples would hurt more, they’re considerably harder than oranges at comparable ripeness.
