You've seen Enter the Dragon right. Remember all those guys practicing in the court yard, well watch them closely. They may be wearing black belts, but they don't throw punches like black belts.
Love the comic as always, blah, blah, Adam's the best etc. (it's got to be hard being consistently awesome as you are) I'm sure the guy in panel one will live for days without his head (he is a cockroach after all) I really love the last panel, they look so happy!
I took martial arts as a kid. Switched to kung fu (at a gym, taught by a used car sales man). We got sashes instead of belts. I thought it was that much cooler so I wore my green sash to school. Kids mocked me endlessly because I truly looked like a gay pirate.
How sad that you were mocked as a child. 🙁 Kids can be cruel.
So…are you still wearing that happy green sash now that you're a full-grown pirate, Mr. Sparrow? BTW, some green eye shadow would go nicely, Mister (you have to say it with a lisp)!
Hi Adam, I really enjoy your work. I even tried to recommend your comic to a colleague and told him to just google 'bugcomic' or 'bug webcomic' or something like that.
Guess what – you can't find http://www.bugcomic.com via google. I don't know if this is intentional, but if it's not, you should probably think about doing some SEO.
Being a black belt myself (although i had to stop going to TKD cuz of a surgery), i say you should give us masters a break and let the beginners get the spotlight!
I noticed the same thing as Jerry, but back in the day when the comic was brand new. Figured it was a pagerank thing because the comic wasn't well known. Certainly not an issue now though, but that problem does indeed still exist.
Jerry is right and wrong at the same time. I googled both Buc Comic and Bug Webcomic and found your facebook page and many comic sites that had links to your comic, the first 4 hits on Bug Webcomic linked to yours. He is right about your comic page not coming up in the search though.
I think Shyamalan did this with the live-action Avatar movie, or at least I recall cringing at the choreography when I wasn’t doing so about pretty much everything else.
This is my FIRST time commenting and all I have to say is keep up the good work
now imagine every kung fu movie with not black belts
1st panel: Bruce Lee bug vs Chuck Norris bug
Can you believe they're remaking it?? Sacrilege man.
Panel 3, just what i'd do.
I want to live inside Adam's head for one day.
…you'd suffocate.
watch out for all the spider webs and dead mice
Make sure to bring a GPS, otherwise you'll never be able to navigate all the twists and turns in his brain.

It should have been 34 instead of 37…

Everybody was Bug Fu fighting!
Those Bugs were fast as lightning!
Now I want some buck-apiece white belts. I can use them as expendable bait for when the zombies come.
Is Bug practicing Bug-Fu!
Great comic as always!

Great comic strip. It reminded me of this hilarious YouTube video.

I would pay good money to watch white belts make fools of themselves.
Just gotta make sure Baki Hanma isn’t among these white belts.
Panel one: realized the headless bug’s face was angry and immediately noticed the splay-fingered hands going “What the hell, dude?”
And you’d have every martial arts movie with a female lead from 1979-2004.
All of them.
