At the cinema where I live, there's a couple of front rows, then all the other seats are raised up behind them. So the best place to sit is in the front row of the back section, 'cause there's a mini wall-rail thingy which you can use as a footrest, and you're basically level with the screen. Cinema viewing bliss.
Man panel 2 is kind of a cliff hanger. Good to see lady bug stole the proper 3d glasses for the movie (those binoculars are actually called theatre binoculars, learn something new every day)
I went out with this girl for a bit who insisted on sitting right down the front. I still have no idea what the plot was for Prince of Persia, because all I can remember of that film is Jake Gyllenhaal's fifty-foot face leering at me.
Why does the dying baby refer to itself in the past tense? Surely it's not dead as it speaks and maybe for a good couple of microseconds after that too. What a drama queen!
The bigger decision is center or aisle. If you pick center, you're gambling that you wont have to bolt mid-flick either because of your bladder or because you accidentally walked into a Michael Bay double feature. Choose aisle and you'll be trampled by other people who fit those 2 scenarios.
I must just denote that I am enjoying the "Focused Nonsense." I has in no way taken away from the enjoyment of the strip. Actually I think it is a bonus because it allows more freedom to express your encyclopedic comedic ideas. Such as I mean not having to toss out jokes that simply won't fit in a single strip.
I always pick a row somewhere in the middle, in front of and behind unoccupied seats. That way, I don't get stuck:
A) With a stuck neck from having to stare straight up at the screen
B) In with a bunch of obnoxious back-row people who think that being in the back is an excuse to be loud
C) In front of a seat-kicker
or D) Behind some buffalo of a person who blocks my view of the movie.
Also, I always sit in the middle of the row, towards one end. Not quite to the aisle, but several seats away from it. Still not in the exact middle, though. That way, I don't get people pushing past me to get to the other side (when really they could've just gone around,) and I can still make a quick escape if the movie is crappy.
I also live near a cinema like Fuddlebob's. All I can say is that it's the best theater design ever.
I've always preferred the middle of the last row, myself. One thing I really like about (most of) the movie theatres in Norway is that they work by assigned seating instead of a gladiatorial free-for-all. I can buy my ticket online a few days in advance and stake claim to the best seat.
I was just wondering, is there a Share tool somewhere on this site for sharing comics on Facebook? I like sharing the ones that I like with my friends and family. ^^;
Panel 2 => FTW
his own son called him a jackass.
lolol
yay for movie theater week

You live in a cinema?
Would be nice, all the free soda and popcorn.
Seriously I'm jealous
The back row is by far the best, because you have a good view of the screen and you're raised up a little bit so there are no heads in your way.
Same here. There's also no people in the back putting their feet on your chair and you can stand up if you want to and disturb no one 🙂

Party in the front row, chillin' in the back row. Which seat can I take?
Get the hell out of here.
Are you serious, now?
no

Don't worry; no one else knows what the plot was either. 😉
I haven't seen the movie but that comment was great, good for you!
I do the back row. You can make out there.
You do the entire back row!?!? No wonder the theatre is always sticky 🙁
Tylenol making a popcorn topping is something very believable in fact now that its been said u can bet it will happen xD

He's saying he pooped on Bug's sneakers when he was two months old. Would a two-month-old say jackass?
He's older now and dad Bug was referring to a past event.
Ah I see.
they should totally have royal seats in theaters! Gives new meaning to giving a movie two thumbs up.

Good work as always.

First panel cracked me up. I still haven't seen a single comic where every panel is funny XD
You have now.
Maybe you meant not every panel?

Panel 2 really threw me off and doesn't tie in very well with the rest of the strip.
My kids love the front row for some weird reason and I refuse to sit there.
Also another good reason to get to a movie early – so you can pick your seat and all the good ones aren't taken yet!
The second panel is trying to make a joke that it'd be easier for him to decide which kid he wants to save than decide where to sit
I had to read it a couple times to get where he was going. I got the joke but I feel like it didn't fit as well as others I've read.
The second panel is a reference to the films "Sophie's choice" and "The good son". so yeah, movie related.
They thought it was over…
"I think that's all of them you can now work at your desk agian."
They where WRONG!
"OMG! THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!! THEY'RE AFTER MY TEA!!"
Starring a bunch of actors you could care less about.
"I AM SICK OF THESE MOTHER******* ANTS ON THIS MOTHER*******DESK!!"
AnTastrophie!
Coming to a romote theater in the middle of nowhere April 2.
Always save the girl child. boys are too much of a hassle and i think me and all the other men know how much of a hassle we were growing up
This is AWESOME! LOVING movie theater week! Awesome job, Adam!
Last panel is pure amazement.

Woot, late comment
Didn't realize I didn't read your comic today
Rebecca Black approves this comic. (I hope y'all know your meme)
Second panel was a little bit of a throw off but I love the joke about the front seats. My brother wanted to sit there Niin the
e first five minutes my neck hurt :p
