What about needing someone to sing the other half of a duet?
Not that I can get my wife to come in the shower to sing her part of Glee’s version of Don’t Stop Believin’.
Lol, excellent. They should make operas like that so if you were forced there by your better half for a night of culture at least you got to enjoy some boobs..
We kinda do sometimes- if we’re super busy and short on time, but the kiddos are awake, it’s a nice way to reconnect with each other- it’s a combination of nakedness and chatting that’s a middleground between the intimacy of sex and the g-rated life of parents of small kids.
A) Female Bug’s don’t have any boobs that I could ascertain.
B) Showering together stinks because I always end up at the back of the shower getting the cold mist instead of the hot water, and I end up freezing, which tends to have the opposite effect from “romantic moments”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cUNNKzj_Nc
Ha! But you’re missing out. My shower has two shower heads so both can shower at the same time. No alternating who gets the water and who gets the cold!
My fiance and I are on different schedules, but we try and shower together every opportunity we get. If she knew anything about the Thundercats or other old cartoons, they would be fair game with respect to conversation topics.
Whilst I agree with the romantic moment… it is also one of the few places parents can have a conversation without the children interrupting every other word.
i cant really give an opinion on this cause im not dating ( or have ever) but if i was i would def. love to be able to just shower with my lady wether it be casaul or romantic – also i see bug has the fat circle shower head, mines similar but can twist to give it different spray patterns hehehe. which is way better than having that small cone shaped head that just fountains water out at u
My boyfriend and I shower together almost every day. There’s some cuddling but mostly it’s getting clean and chatting. We usually have lots of fun together in the shower joking around.
My (new!) husband and I have been “casually” showering together for almost 3 years — we talk about everything and nothing — just like every other discussion. If you’re truly comfortable with each other, then talking in the shower is no different than talking anywhere else!
My hubby and I enjoy casually showering together frequently – it’s rather fun! Though it’s getting tricky to swap places as my belly continues to grow with our little girl developing as we get closer to her due date lol Though I gotta say that I’m jealous of Jason who has two shower heads!
My boyfriend and I shower together in mornings when we’re in a rush to get ready for class (college). It saves time, even if the shower is a bit cramped.
Maybe it’s just cause I’m fat, but I’ve never seen a non-public shower that looked like it could hold two full grown people. Especially if it’s a door shower and not a curtain one.

And you have just reinvented soap operas. You are hereby classified as EVIL.
The pun you created with ‘soap’ operas should not be as funny as it is.

…Is bug able to breathe through that soap?
nevermind breathing .. but speaking is sure getting his mouth filled with the stuff!
Spiracles be damned! How is bug going to motorboat a non-mammal?!
I believe the real question here is: “does Bug really call his junk the Sword of Omens?”

YES! I second that. Very little romance, lots of shivering going on. Cold mist is a bitch.

*Like*
Ending up at the back negates cold shower mist…

Well, I wouldn’t say ‘no one’. My husband and I casually shower together sometimes.
I shower casually with my partner, to discuss things very similar to the last panel. It’s mostly time constraints, he’s usually busy.
Whilst I agree with the romantic moment… it is also one of the few places parents can have a conversation without the children interrupting every other word.
I’ve heard of couples sharing the bathroom while one goes #2….
These are rumors and hearsay, my wife lingers “BY” the bathroom and not in the bathroom whilst I drop the deuce.
I disagree, he fourth panel is usually how my showers with the misses go.
Yet another example of why BUG will never be in a daily paper. Great stuff.
I love that Thundercats is your idea for a topic of casual conversation! ^_^
Love the water dripping off the antennae in panel 1.
Last panel made me think, for a moment, there was gonna be some diversity on here, but… nope. 🙁

Well, looks like my husband and I don’t exist!

My ex and I showered together casually all the time – almost every night, in fact.

Wrong, wrong, wrong
My wife and I do! It’s misleading every time. I’m expecting situation 1 then BAM! small talk. “So how was work today,”….
In truth me and my wife shower together all the time casually. It just became habit. It’s not like it’s romantic or anything it’s just normal lol
