It is both relieving AND worrying to know that you are insane in this sense…and it’s amazing how fast your brain find some new crazy thing to worry about after the last one was disproved.
Ye gods, is this true. >.> When the Swine Flu was still a going thing, I practically panicked about going out to New York City amongst all those PEOPLE. Needless to say, I did not enjoy the trip. Especially because so many electronic signs were warning people about the dangers of contact with it.
This is really funny – I just got back from a physical at the doctor’s office, and I’m feeling the same way. Here I’ve been chalking up my chronic laziness and crippling apathy to a physical health problem, but it turns out I’m in great health.
Now I have to stop making excuses and do something with my life 🙁

Now you got me worrying about dogs. Thank Neptune I don’t have one!

A new doctor I always tell “I’m afraid I have hypochondria”.
None of them ever laughed. EVER. The humorless bastards.
Funny, I always say “I wish I was a hypochondriac, I probably would have been healthier then” and all of them have laughed so far…
Wait, what? Hangnails TOTALLY lead to Lupus! I thought everyone knew that!

My case is the exact opposite. I make my own diagnosis and it’s always correct. Kind of annoying. I do the doctor’s job and he/she gets paid 🙂
I even come up with stuff the doctors never heard of!
Me: “I think I have a perianal abscess.”
Doc: “No. That’s impossible…”
Two weeks later, I’m in emergency surgery to relieve my perianal abscess.
Silly Bug, it’s NEVER lupus!
Inhaling a dog’s sneeze? Tell that to Big-Boned-Bug. https://www.bugmartini.com/comic/the-bare-bones/
