And the plot of Dead Like Me.
Basically Grim reapers get a note with the address and estimated time of death for you. Then they just stand around waiting for you to die.
I’m left-handed and I wear my watch on my left arm. I guess it’s more a question of habit than anything else… like with the hand you choose to use a mouse, or a fork…
In french, it’s about the same. It doesn’t make a lot of sense, beside “I’m looking for an excuse to decline your offer but I won’t say it’s because you don’t interest me/ you’re a corpse. I’d rather look shallow”.
It’s even worse to be dead before you died. Imagine, you’re just lying there in your grave, relaxing, and suddenly someone digs your corpse out and shoots you.
Great concept, I never thught of the two being seperate. But then I guess that’s how zombies come into existence. Dying without being dead would really scare the neighbourhood kids too
I like the idea of funeral homes just shooting the dead in the head just in case. Probably after the casket is closed. Also how do zombies break out of those coffins. They can’t break down a door but they can bust down a couple of inches of oak and six feet of dirt?
So wait, is it during that wait time that one is considered a zombie? Or do zombies only come from reanimated DEAD bodies?
I’m guessing zombies are reanimated dead bodies since dead bug and zombie bug look very different.
As Zombie Bugs are confirmed to be eating brains, I’d say the difference between dead bug and zombie bug is: Dead bug is not yet hungry.
So Zombies are just dying people with bad time management who are behind schedule for being dead?
That was essentially the plot of Reaper Man.

Is Bug left-handed (watch on right arm) ? … is Adam?
Also, fantastic strip, again!
I keep my watch on my right arm and I’m right-handed. Why would you keep it on the other arm? I mean, why is that a thing? I never understood that.
Why would you worry? Keep it where you like.
I think the idea is to use your dominant hand to fasten the watch or adjust the time, but when I was younger I used to wear it like you do.

This makes me think of discussion on being dead in a box from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. So funny!
I wonder if this topic would make MORE or LESS sense in other languages…

Thankfully there’s a difference between feeling dead and actually being dead.
It doesn’t seem possible, but your comics are getting weirder and weirder…
The living died. Huh.

Sunday Without God?
This comic KILLS me!
Of corpse…
I just noticed that bug has a martini in the last panel.
