Actually… when we moved into our new apartment I noticed the bathroom mirror was screwed to the wall, so I took it down the next morning just to be sure there was nothing behind it.
u shouldn't trust wiki about that.. anyone and their brain dead kids can edit that site XD (also i have that last fear too except on a more irrational scale)
I've heard (but never tested it – don't know of any two way mirrors!) that if the press something like your fingernail against a real/regular mirror, there will be a gap between it and its reflection. Apparently, on a two way mirror there is know gap.
Then again, I could be wrong, and this could be bull.
It's 100% true! The reflective surface of a regular mirror is behind the glass, so there'd be a space between your nail and its reflection because the reflective surface is actually a small distance away! On a two-way mirror the reflective surface is right at the front because that's where the light hits the glass! The nail check works :3
Thanks for all the information.I love this site.I really have fun for all your comments.Yeah! Shan its true its 100% reflective surface of a regular mirror is behind the glass, so thereβd be a space between your nail and its reflection because the reflective surface.
@Katherine. You make me laugh! Why did you say that you are compatible in hell? Well, it is your own opinion but I don’t want to think that you are a demon..lol. Peace be with you!
π
@Cindy, Yes I’m not a demon but based on what they told us about demons. I can say I’m like a demon bwahahaha and consider those mistakes… but I truly embrace all those mistakes and so happy because There’s a new understanding. π
I have those same thoughts about mirrors! Luckily I doubt it to be true of the mirror at home and I don’t tend to be naked and wank in front of other mirrors π
Anyone who wants to watch me in a two-way mirror is welcome to do so, but they should be forewarned of the consequences…it ain’t a pretty sight…ugh, just seeing my own reflection sometimes need the bile rise . . .
I'd be more worried about the hidden camera in your bedroom.
Actually… when we moved into our new apartment I noticed the bathroom mirror was screwed to the wall, so I took it down the next morning just to be sure there was nothing behind it.
I've always been terrified of my bathroom mirror…
I hope that nobody's behind my mirror…
Its *any* mirrors actually.. I also have day-dreams of graphic death by road accidents..
@Marrock
Wait. There was NOTHING behind your mirror?
As in, a VOID of nothingness?
I'd be a little worried about that.
I personally like a nice wall behind mine. Preferably with wallpaper in a bold, red diamond pattern. Very manly, that. Ahem.
Um, red diamonds? Very manlyyyy *sarcasm* And I would like to have a void of nothingness. I could throw my enemies into it.
I’d find such a void even handier. Who needs a trash can when you’ve got an endless nothing to throw unwanted what-not into?
@mordoz
You'd want wallpaper in your bathroom!?
um sorry man but its one way, a two way mirror is a mirror on both sides π

Go to hell. Sincerely, everyone who benefits from Wikipedia
I would have thought that would have been a window.
Couldn't you just turn the lights off?A two way mirror only reflects the brightly lit side.
You didn't use the classic, "Getting murdered by the guy behind the shower curtain."

If *you press.
There is *no gap.
I should really have spell-checked that comment^
you got that right XD
Wouldn't have helped. A computer spell check would have recognised know as a valid word.
:p
You’re assuming that he meant by using a computer spell checker – the old fashioned kind of spell-check would most likely have picked up those errors.
I just know the bug on the see-thru side of the mirror is Nerd Bug, even though I can’t see the glasses. His smugness gives him away every time.

I have fun reading the comments in this article.
I also check my mirror when I go for a hotel for me to know that no one is watching me.
Thanks for sharing ..
@Brenatevi, unless you set your CCTV Camera from your room, and that’s what we called HILARIOUS hahahaha
I’d rather choose Hell than Heaven… I have no fear to go in Hell because Hell is the most compatible with me hehehe π

Even worse than your bathroom mirror being a two-way mirror: your two-way mirror is actually your bathroom mirror.
My Irrational Fear? The people in the pub over the road from my bedroom are watching me dance. And hearing me sing. Poor souls.
Anyone who wants to watch me in a two-way mirror is welcome to do so, but they should be forewarned of the consequences…it ain’t a pretty sight…ugh, just seeing my own reflection sometimes need the bile rise . . .
*Makes*, not need. Man, I wish we could edit our comments…
That last one is a great concept.
