There’s a classic mystery story where a woman bashes her husband’s skull in with a frozen leg of lamb, then cooks it and serves part of the murder weapon to the cops or detective…. Not a spoiler ’cause I don’t remember the author or title.
There’s also a Japanese detective manga, Kindaichi Case Files, with a similar case, about a man being blackmailed by his mistress and killed her with a frozen steak on rage in her own family restaurant, and served it to the detective and cop that happened to come in right after he hid the corpse.
The detective was also talking about a story that someone uses frozen meat to kill and fed it to the cops while the cop over the table is enjoyably eating that piece of evidence.
I first saw this when it was an episode of “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”, back in the days before color TV, so I’m not surprised to learn that it’s been done many times since.
I guess you could say he was trying to present some “crappy” evidence 😀 huh? huh?! Yeah me neither… I could really go for being assaulted by a burrito right about now…
My favorite part is probably how Bug in panel 3 is just casually eating the burger while his top hat and monocle are on the floor, and doesn’t even bother putting them back on for panel 4.

Roald Dahl wrote that story, one of the “Tales of the Unexpected”, specifically “Lamb to the Slaughter”

You could be arrested for assault with a breadly weapon.
You should be bunished for a crack like that… 🙂
I demand that he is hung until bread.
Nicely done.

I loved the top hat and monocle in the 2nd panel. Plus, excellent use of “tum-tum”. Lol!
Justice is best served with ex lax.
People present Exhibit B for bowel movement.
Against property, would this be Delicious Mischief?
Why would that cop say no?I’m just sayin, that burger looked pretty tasty. I might want to try it myself.
