Somehow, it was the written out sound effect that got me going more then the picture. Luckily, no one’s around to see me playing with an imaginary doorstop…
You too? Oh good. It’s comforting to know I wasn’t the only one who instinctively started flicking his/her fingers in midair at a nonexistent metal spring.
My housemates came running in to see what I was guffawing about, which caused the neighbors to come running over to see what all the guffawing was about, which caused California to come running over to see what Arizona was . . ., which caused…. Okay, Adam, that latest quake really *was* your fault.
Best advice my father ever gave me. Don’t buy a gift for kids under 2.5. Just get them a box and wrap it up all nice. They’ll enjoy their christmas playing with the box and wrapping paper underneath the tree.
I just LOVE how utterly oblivious to his surroundings Baby Bug is – he doesn’t even realize he’s not upright in panel one. Hell, he looks like doesn’t even know what upright *is*.
I mean, okay, he’s a baby, but still. I’m sure most of the little suckers are at least capable of knowing when you’re holding them upside down.
Also, Adam, I typically read your comic on my phone over breakfast, and recently I’ve seen these annoying little pop ups for a game called Jelly Splash or something. Is that supposed to be happening?
Is it possibly the operating system you use? Since I updated mine, albeit I use a laptop, not my phone, I have tons of pop up ads along the side of my screen, and not just on this site
Jake; From what I understand, it’s just lousy timing on your part. The advertisers are trying a new campaign where they annoy you more.
In the beginning, they used to auto-play without you being able to mute them. That got shut down, right away, though, I understand.
Very funny and true! Babies won’t even remember what you gave them, the presents are meant for the parents to appreciate.
Also, what’s with the full stop in pantel 2?
Niece-Bug is such an awesome character.
Probably disappointed because she didn’t get an Uzi.
Might cause Bug to issue queries of concern if she does
Dude!
Heck, I’m still entertained by doorstops.
DRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrr DRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrr DRRRRRRRrrrrrr
Weeeehehehehehehe ๐

tal
me too. Does that mean we’ll get no prezzies?!!? ๐
How about buying a gift for -0,5 year old? I’ve seen that.
One of the cats who owned us was fascinated by those doorstops too. He was a Maine Coon: 20 pounds of curious, playful muscle.
Love a good noisy doorstop myself. Adam should do a cartoon featuring doorstops as the plotline.
Same goes for birthdays. Why have a birthday for a child who would rather wear a cake than eat it?

Actually you can blame Florida for everything.
She’s quoting her first meme… they grow up so fast.

No. I’ll look into that.
Thank you kindly, good sir, and Merry Christmas to you.

I’m 21 and still entertained by doorstops….and could also be used as one. Does this mean no presents for me???
Only if you cannot properly convey disappointment.
I’m 22 and I’m still amused by those springy-types of doorstops.
But does that full stop need to be in panel two after doorstop?
(Hope you had a very Merry Christmas, Adam!)

I’m still entertained by a door stop and I’m almost 16… Is that bad?
