Side note, I found a site about a fan-theory that all the Pixar films are in the same universe. Bug’s life is sometime after Wall-e and Monster’s Inc is millenia after Bug’s life. And that the machine with the doors is a time machine, and that there are two kinds of magic: Something tied to wood (Watch Brave) and human emotion (The toys are alive because they take on the emotion of the kids who play with them)
One of my elderly male relatives once joked that he was glad husbands usually died before their wives because if he didn’t, he might remarry and boy, he didn’t want to have to deal with that if they all three made it to heaven.
I guess even between old age and when you are buried, things can change really fast. Old age crisis?
… no hoverboards? C’mon, that’s ridiculous.
And judging by the inscription on the gravestones, by the time Bug dies the russians will have taken over the world. 😉
No, not the Russians. Doctors, doctors will rule the world. The writing is ineligible squiggles.
I think you mean “illegible”.
Or both. ineligible and illegible.
We shouldn’t mock bug culture though. After all, they were here first.
Dude, maybe this is the Bug’s Life universe.

Plot twist: He cloned her because she died first. The “floozy” is the clone of his wife!
Unfortunately, the clone of his wife cheated him with his clone!
Actually, it’s his mom!
Why she have different grave stone then he have?
The Time Traveller’s Divorcee.

OH, great.
Now I gotta look up Time Tunnel thanks to that first panel.
Think it might be on Netflix?
