Ya totally gotta wear pants in order to have someplace to put your phone. Otherwise it get’s stinky…
The “censored” bit is pretty hilarious!
Great strip!
Excellent example of confusion via Autocorrect in penile, er, panel 4!
So, what year is 0 BI according to you? I want to calculate my birth year ;-).
0 BI = 1991
That better not be because that was the year that AOL started offering service or we will have to yank your geek card.
Marquar — no, Eternal September started September 1993, not 1991. I squeak in JUUUST under the wire, having gotten my first full-fledged Internet account in September 1992, although I’d been using BBS’s before that.
I had an email address in 1991. And I was using telnet, gopher etc. as early as October 1990.
CERN’s website claims that the Web was invented in 1989 and in 1993 they released HTML to the public domain. As for the actual Internet itself, ARPANET launched in late 1969, and TCP/IP was developed in the ’70s. So, pick a date.
Ya, I was using ARPANET regularly in 1980. Email was called electronic mail back then. 🙂
I wasn’t around when email was called electronic mail, but I was around when it was called e-mail.
Can we all just take a moment to admire that 2011 is finally ending?
From a comment by Adam (WWBD) – “I hope to have a store, offering my first book, before the end of 2011.”
From a comment by Adam (No Rest Forum Wicked) – “My plan is to dive head-first into the world of bookmaking as soon as I get back from France.”
