Great strip! Looks like I’ve found myself a new webcomic to read.
Trust me, you’ll enjoy Chris’ work!
Of course you did. Maximumble is hilarious comic, so is Minimumble, his side-project. Huber once made a guest comic for Chris and vice versa right now.
Panel 3 is the reason I became the person who organises the weekly coffee+cake rota. Anyone who wants to organsise bringing cake in has to OK it with me first!
Panels 1 & 4…spot on!
“I’ve been goofing off for free? PFFFFT!” It’s like having to go to the bathroom after you’ve left work for the day. “What? I have to poop on my OWN time? UGH! Ain’t nobody got time for that!”
I know, pooping on the clock* is one of the greatest pleasures in life.
* Not literally.
Hahaha!
After my Crohn’s diagnosis I had to make my employer remove the timer switch for the lights since my handicap made bathroom time a little longer than the 15 minutes the switch would allow.
Just a non-sequitor there.
And what’s wrong with solid chocolate cake donuts? Hmmm?
ANYTHING chocolate is a winner.
All the panels are perfect! But don’t forget finding out about the leftover pizza from a big meeting AFTER you’ve already paid for lunch!
Oops sorry didn’t mean to reply to your comment!
I work second shift and always walk in a few minutes after first shift has polished off all the pizza that some random company/vendor brings in for “all the guys”.
I get to sniff empty boxes.
Compared to cream-filled? Sure, there’s nothing WRONG with chocolate cake donuts, but if you compare them to ANY OTHER kind of donut except Old Fashioned, the others are better.
I do not actually believe the preceding comment, and I happen to love Old Fashioned donuts, aka “plain”, which are just plain circular dough. Just like you can only truly judge an ice cream place by the quality of their vanilla, you can only judge a donut shop by the quality of their old fashioned.
And I’m a Bostonian — home to the best ice cream AND the best donuts in the world. Not saying anything against, say, beignets, but most of the best donut bakeries on the planet are in the Boston area.
And, as far as ice cream goes, I give real props to Italy for gelato and Madison, Wisconsin for the ice cream made at UW’s agriculture school dairy department, both of which are EXCELLENT, but we’re nonetheless the best.
Oh lordy, Old Fashioned donuts are pure heaven. Have one with a hot cup of cocoa or, even better, hot cider in the autumn. Bliss!
Naw, CIDER donuts are for with cider in the fall. Fresh cider donuts, made at the orchard with their own cider, directly out of the fryer, hot and crisp.
Gosh darnit, now you’ve gone and made me hungry. D:
Play inrofmative for me, Mr. internet writer.
Staring at your comment wondering if “inrofmative” was just a typo or a deliberate misspelling for snark.
As someone who very recently started an office job, I just want to say I hope this is at least partly accurate. 🙂
It’s amazing how all of the guest strippers so far “get” the pacing of a Bug Martini strip.
Apparently this particular strip was written in 2105, good to know we’ll have a lifetime supply of Bug!
And by written I actually meant drawn, it could’ve been written in 653 for all I know.
i love it!! 😀
