The zombies are very excited about the new Star Wars movies. It’s not that all the nerds will be in the same place, the zombies just think that BB-8 is adorable.

Jesus. I’m a SW nut, but some of my friends already have 3 and 4 sets of tickets. Yes, they have bought tickets to see the movie 3 or 4 times on opening day. Seriously.
If this movie sucks…. man… I seriously worry. People are going to break stuff.
I can name several just in my “born after Jedi” lifetime. The good thing about the new Star Wars, worst case it’ll only be the fourth worst Star Wars movie which also makes it the fourth best Star Wars movie. They can’t lose.
I know I’m in the minority here, but I don’t think the prequels sucked. For sure, they were nowhere near as good as the original trilogy, but I thought they were “mediocre” at worst.
My ticket is for Sunday which means I have to live with the fact that 3 days worth of people will have seen the movie so I have to avoid all tv and Internet between Thursday and Monday
First off: Nice Title.
Secondly: If your girlfriend (and by girlfriend, I mean your annoyed girlfriend) doesn’t want to get up at 6:30 to see the new Star Wars movie…I dunno…this doesn’t bode well for your future. I mean, you don’t need that kind of negativity in your life, amiright?
Myself, I’m not going anywhere NEAR a theater for the first couple of weeks. I love me some Star Wars and all, but I don’t like people enough to go fight through a battalion of home-made costume-wearing nerds, geeks and fanboys-fangirls at the local cineplex.
I am excited to see the movie, but I’m closer to 60 than to 40 or 41, so…I’ma watch it later when the theater is more empty of people.
Or maybe I’m just a crochety old man now…I dunno…
Get off my lawn!
Pink Floyd, I agree. My daughter and I are going to see SW 8 days after the opening and at the 10:30pm showing. Hopefully there will be no little kids and/or people in costume. I’m over 70 and do not want to trip over a light saber.
I have to work a half-day on the 25th, so I’m visiting family and “doing Christmas” a week early on the 19th. I think I’ll go see SW after work on the 25th. Hopefully the theater will be less crowded because everyone will be at home playing with their new exploding hoverboard.

So, your girlfriend doesn’t want to see the force awaken at 6:30 am. Noted.
What do you mean you haven’t bought tickets 3 months in advance? What kind of nerd are you?

And the only thing that surprises me in this comic is learning Adam is forty-one.
We all know he’s the biggest Star Wars geek this side of the galaxy, after all.
I think Stephen Colbert would disagree 😉
Colbert is a huge Lord of the Ring geek, I think HelloGreedo on YouTube is the poster boy of Star Wars fans.
But Colbert has been a Star Wars fan two weeks longer than everyone else.
Normally, I would have some sort of Star Wars related lines at the ready, but I got nothing.
Holy Crap! It’s December already?
When did that happen?

Pfft, name ONE time a Star Wars film has had colossal built up hype and been incredibly disappointing.

i guess it is true what they say about our most pessimistic estimates often being far too optimistic

Slacker. Don’t you already have a robe of some sort to wear as a Jedi costume or at least one light sabre, collectible or home-made?
