I think Adam’s trying to tell us something. Is there an alternate universe where, instead of making fantastic webcomics, Adam cured cancer?
Honestly, I’m kind of glad I’m in this universe. Considering Adam’s displayed “knowledge” of science, I can’t bear to imagine what terrible side effects his cancer cure might have.
I can see where Adam might look back at his volume of work and say, “Yeah, it’s funny… but do I want to be remembered for twisted jokes using badly drawn bugs??”
Adam will be remembered for bringing laughter to a lot of people, day after day, and making our lives a little happier. There are many legacies that don’t come up to a standard like that.
Sure we can! In fact I think he’s already convinced of that, or else he wouldn’t put so much effort into giving us content to read 5 days a week. You have to have quite a talent to think of a joke that often. It’s just about up there with people who make newspaper comics, and that’s no easy bar to reach.

Best part of the Bug: how the topic and the accompanying strip set off a sometimes a very funny dialog between the readers and sometimes a very thought-provoking “hey, that’s me, and whoa…” sorta conversation. Laughter will reach people when nothing else can.
Hopefully, no one sees themselves as a zombie, not pointing any bony fingers at anyone…
Yup, that about covers it.
…a bit close to home. 😛
Ouch. I know a lot of people who would take this strip way too seriously. D-=
It’s funny because it’s true.
How did you do papier-mâché without paper?
Extra måchë.
Newsprint rather than printer paper
boxes of that industrial TP that they use in school washrooms. The better kind without the extra splinters.
This will be me in a week 🙂
HA! Sucks to be you!
I still have a whole year to procra..err, plan!

No life, no cancer. Cancer cured! Yay!
Like turning people into zombies?
Hush! They might catch on…
Catch on to the fact that our real human scientists at the north pole are making a completely legitimate cure for every disease ever!
I can see where Adam might look back at his volume of work and say, “Yeah, it’s funny… but do I want to be remembered for twisted jokes using badly drawn bugs??”
The only answer to that question is “yes”. A million times yes.
Adam will be remembered for bringing laughter to a lot of people, day after day, and making our lives a little happier. There are many legacies that don’t come up to a standard like that.
Yes, but can we convince Adam of that…

crap I repeated myself, sorry!
Thanks, Rhea and Bugster! That’s really sweet of you two to say.
My 40th birthday is in a few weeks… shit.
Yeah this is true. For me… it’s a webcomic…
You will just have to accept being funny and writing a successful comic strip.

Agreed.
Curing cancer … causing cancer…
Let’s not get caught up on the details and just appreciate that cancer was involved.
Bah, astrological signs don’t need to be cured anyway… 🙂
Though i think Destiny would give you a better grade if your volcano spewed scorpions…
Chocolate pudding or maybe cauliflower soup for the vegans.
As life’s work goes, Bug Martini is pretty good.
Thanks!
Adam must be stalking me. He always seems to know the exact age I’m about to turn.
