The Empire Talks Smack

I was reminded by some of you that I drew a week of Star Wars parody strips last year in honor of May the 4th. Totally forgot I even did that. But since I had nothing in particular planned for this week – other than a huge website redesign (more on that later) – I decided to carry on the tradition and draw my rendition of The Empire Strikes Back this week. Enjoy, nerds!

There is so much awesome here that I can’t express so I’ll focus on the understatement of a long, long time: The Death Star getting vandalized!
A year ago I left a comment asking for you to do the rest of the movies. 😛
One movie a year means he can probably do it forever (since Franchis-ney now owns it) 😉
You totally rule Adam. I’ve been to Hoth, Minnesota. It’s cold there. Way cold. And yes, it totally does smell worse on the inside.
Does the Hoth Micky D’s sell ton-ton burgers? (Two ton-ton patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun!)
Yes, but they’re only Luke-warm.
Hey-oh!
Nice.
I hope you revisit George’s hair. It was more shampoo ad luxurious, not curly fro. 🙂
Also, am I the only one who reread panel 3’s cashier as if she was from Fargo’s central casting?
That’s how I read it.
The last panel killed me. I am dead. Great way to start a Monday morning!
I wish I could start my Monday that way. It would be an improvement.
At first I read the first panel as “let’s squeeze that mutha”, which makes just as much sense, actually.
I think I would enjoy Star Wars a lot more if it was basically the same setting as Fargo.
I’m imagining the pancake discussion scene, now with Han and Chewie in the car.
“Not entirely sure I agree with your parenting, there, Darth…”
Hahaha!
So good to start a week with a good comic full of win.
Bug Lucas drowning in money made me spill my coffee, after that every panel just gets better.
You’re a slow learner, aren’t you?
DO NOT EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING WHILE READING BUGMARTINI!
Adam, you really should put a sign like this up somewhere.
Somehow I just knew it his was going to be a great week. Maybe it was the force!
