Poor Money Down the Drain

Originally, in panel two, I was going to draw the bug surrounded by expensive and useless possessions. But I couldn’t think of what sort of ridiculous things to draw, so I gave up and had him chuck money into the ocean.
First panel looks more like he’s trying to buy that wacky coat without anyone seeing him.
How are all your comments from people up at three in the morning.
International fans 😀
Insomniac fans.
Second and Third shifters
For some reason, I really like the tapping foot with Harmonica poor bug.
Me too!
With regards to the second panel: Throwing the money bag at a child working a lemonade stand, to buy a hundred cups of lemonade, might work.
Buying tuxedoes for flamingoes and/or tortoises is another option.
How much does bugmartini.com net you?
Not enough to live on quite yet.
Now that you own a house you’re going to want to keep shopping cheaply.
You’re going to want a cash slush fund for those unexpected expenses; water heater, roof leak, zombie apocalypse, garage door failure, etc.
Actually, folks usually shop at thrift stores (legitimate ones, not scams like the SA) to give money to charity. The low cost used items are just the help-the-environment-by-keeping-it-out-of-a-landfill bonus!
The first example of useless possessions that came to my mind is from “Weird Al” Yancovic – Don’t Download this song.
Diamond studded swimming pools and solid gold humvees.
All you need to do is add a boat to the water in the second panel.
“A boat is a hole in the ocean that you have to continually fill with money” – a quote from a boat owning friend of mine.
BOAT:
Bust Out Another Thousand ($)
The two happiest days of a boat owners life is the day he buys his boat and the day he sells his boat.
