My country is close enough to former strongholds of communism that labour day is in May (well actually the nazis introduced that to Ggermany, different story), but I WILL eat that burger today. For freedom
I feel your pain – wait – no I don’t – It’s scorching here in south central Ontario.
BBQ and liquid refreshments of choice but in my case demolition in preparation for renovations –
As a fellow comic author myself, this has always been a point of interest for me. At one point, I made and posted comics on a daily schedule and rarely had any kind of surplus made. So when these holidays came around, I’d be making the “taking a holiday break” comic the day before the holiday… then on the holiday itself, I’d be making the next day’s comic as normal, and not actually taking the holiday off. xD
Gotta ask, is it the same for you, Adam, or do you have a better stockpile of comics made?
I see the problem, y’all foreigners are asking about “Labour” day but we don’t have that here in the US either. Holidays are invalidated by spelling changes.
Sorry to say that, ain’t no labour day over here. 🙁
But still: Enjoy your burgers! 🙂
No labour day here either
It’s because you people insist on misspelling “labor”.

It’s too could in central Canada to n
And that’s the last time I try to comment on any cartoon with my tablet. Thanks, Apple, for making my iPad so slow and unresponsive!
What I was TRYING to say is that it’s too cold here in central Canada to barbecue; 9 degrees C with a 20 km/hr wind, and light rain. 🙁
Summer flew by far too quickly.
Enjoy your burger, Adam. Planning any live punk music in your backyard?

No stockpile. They’re all drawn the day (and in most cases: night) before.
Don’t celebrate Labour Day here. And even if we did, in too much pain to do anything resembling labour.
America: the country where we have a holiday to celebrate hourly labor, where you only get the day off with pay if you’re salaried.
And you’re on call and will probably get called in.

I can’t say much for foreign zombies, but American zombies do celebrate Labor Day. That said, that mainly means putting the brains on buns first.
