Adam? You seem to have some real poo issues going on. I've noticed you mentioning poo in the last few issues. Perhaps a bit constipated? Let me know. I worry about you.
completely unrelated but: I love how its called "strips" like people say "thanks for a great strip" and I giggle because im a teenager and to me"strip" means to get naked; not the form comics come in! XD
I love my parents, but I'd never want their jobs. My dad works for a cable company, and my mom works for developmentally disabled people/online news article writer/former author. They love to cook but never went for their dreams… so, I guess my brother and I are gonna be the chefs to open a restaurant one day. Maybe.
Someone else mentioned this earlier in a slightly roundabout way, and it may be far too old for you to care, but in the last panel there either needs to be an “a” before “star” or an “-s” at the end of “convention.”
My dad has always told me to avoid a job like his if I could help it, and I believe him. I am a squishy lump of dough, not fit for the kind of physical labor he does.
sheer and utter brilliance!!! My day is made by this comic!!! Thank you Adam!
and oh yeah, i should have guessed that the nerdy bug was from a pooflinger family.
I agree, it should have been obvious to us all.
Nah, I think my dad's job is great. But making beer isn't for me.
What! There’s only one Star Trek convention left?
Nice catch.
thanks adam for another great strip 😀
Wait, "math and working with the public?" I'm sitting here trying to figure that out. Tax service is all I got….
… Accounting… *shudders* :S

But Dad!!! i don't want to draw a comic about bugs!!!
I'm guessing the "circle of hell" fed you well and nourised your creative mind?? Great strip.
For some reason, this makes complete sense. Why do something your dad does, when you can go on a completely different tangent?
Where can I apply for a career in poo-flinging?
For some reason Dad Bug seems very familiar…
he is not a real geek, he has no glasses!
HAHAHA love it! I'm the parent in panel three though. 🙁 My kids will never want to be like me, I'm an accountant.
NOT wanting to do what your parents did is a good thing! Onwards and upwards!
Yeah! I can relate to this! I'm the first person in my family to be crazy enough to pursue cartooning as a career.
Is this a glimpse at your day job, Adam? 🙂
Actually my dad owns a locksmith company and hired me as an office assistant, but I seem to be doing pretty well at locksmithing. ^_^
I'm pretty sure my life is EXACTLY like Panel #3.
But what if your dad doesn't want you to do the same job. 🙂
It's the one year anniversary comic!

p.s. love the strip 🙂

Ah yes, flinging poo is a tough, man's labor, but its rewarding labor.
@Placeholder – he could be a math teacher
Circles of hell… Epic!

If I ever had a child like that…
WORDS WOULD BE HAD, AND HEADS WOULD ROLL.
There you go, Adam! You probably come from a long line of people who hate their dad’s job!
