I’ve actually been to both. I have a picture of me standing in front of a monster truck. And I was just recently at a tea tasting party at the 4 Seasons Hotel.
The intersection of the tea tasting people and monster truck people can be found in something called “military service”. Being in the Army put me into all kinds of weird situations!
Spelling can be hard when you’re concentrating on the massage. Er, message (that tyop was NOT deliberate, BTW). Or in my case, fighting with the tablet to keep the comment window available and the glass keyboard onscreen.
Don’t be so sure, I once did security for a monster truck rally/tractor pull… and the Wife and I really enjoy a cuppa. We’ve even had a tea time or two 🙂
I thought that was called drinking tea. Who knew.
For a tea *tasting* the emphasis would be on sampling small amounts of many teas, rather than drinking a cup or two of the same tea.
Also, at least in a proper tea tasting, there’s probably at least some effort put towards ISO 1839 conformance.
That “only” in the fourth panel would read better if it were placed two words later (in front of “by”).
I disagree, I think this flows equally as well. Perhaps you’ve just grown up with different speech patterns?
“Accessible” needs another s anyway.
That just seems greedy. It already has 2 c’s and 2 e’s. Does it need the s or just want more and if so where will it end? That’s right another e!
It would depend on your data set. If I made the context “Things People Avoid”, the two would probably overlap in the Venn Diagram.
There would definitely be some overlap there.
I’ve heard of wine tastings, but never tea tastings!
Also Adam, in the fourth panel, the correct spelling is “accessible”.
Hard tea exists. Serve at Monster Truck Rallies, profit!

How about a tea shop proprietor with kids? They would naturally like tea tastings, but they would take their kids to monster truck rallies.
This tea is nothing but hot leaf juice. Uncle, that’s what all tea is. How could a member of my own family so something so horrible
Sometimes one wants a change from drinking hot seed juice.

So there’s always a way!
