[Atlanta] Braves-ly Defaulting
I’m not a baseball fan, but I can determine that ‘Atlanta Braves’ is a team, and ‘defaulting’ rings a bel somewhere in the distance. Not sure what the third pun is, unless it’s the reference itself.
Welcome to the club of those who have completed an archive binge of a yet-incomplete webcomic. Would you like a jacket, a hat, a pin, a pin on a hat, a pin on a jacket, or a jacket and a hat on which you can place the pin yourself? We also do daisy crowns if that’s your thing.
{laughs} It has been far too long since someone responded to my stupid Blindsprings ‘welcome to the club’ joke. I have no idea how one would construct a ‘daisy jacket’, but if you have any ideas do let me know.

Your ability to make that last reference earns you an automatic internet.
You don’t get the opportunity to do a triple pun and a reference in the same line very often.
I’m not a baseball fan, but I can determine that ‘Atlanta Braves’ is a team, and ‘defaulting’ rings a bel somewhere in the distance. Not sure what the third pun is, unless it’s the reference itself.
Defaulting, in most contexts, means failure to repay a loan. The third pun is the reference, I suppose I could have worded that better.

That second panel should a=say – pinch “sitter” – of course.
“Let’s play gall!”
I hope Adam doesn’t like it, because I really don’t want him to kick himself.
But do you really want to play a double-header of work?
