Being a Baby Is Awesome – Part 1

Thought about this as I was buckling my baby into her car seat. I’d LOVE to be put in a comfy seat and carried around while my caretakers just hope that I take a nap.
My wife carries our granddaughter African style, on her back bound by a large piece of cloth. There’s a bit of technique involved in getting the baby both comfortable and secure but the calming effect is unbelievable. Either the baby goes to sleep right away or she just sits there taking in the scenery.
You get the same effect using easier carries with a wrap (I’ve never mastered the African ones), or using just a baby carrier. The soft kind, not the frame kind. (Our little giants travel in the frame kind normally, but we have a soft one for when the calming effect is needed.)
The new font for comment titles is NOT awesome. In fact, it’s hideous, even without the spacing problem that makes the descenders collide with the line below.
OK, that’s weird. Did someone program a random number generator on the font index number? Every time I reload the page, it changes.
That sounds like a glitch with your browser and/or connection.
Glitches are usually not repetitive like that; I’d expect something a little more structurally borked. Test with another browser, run virus scan, et cetera – but any which way, it’s very likely a Kilby problem and not an Adam problem. Which is a shame; BM funniness usually goes into overdrive when Adam’s in trouble.
Yes, but trouble with Adam’s -site- tends to prevent us from enjoying that funniness regardless of how far into overdrive it goes.
First: You can only judge your circumstances when you already experienced others (I guess) – and second: There’s always room for improvement.
I think being a baby is great when compared to being the parent. You think the baby’s life is great because you can appreciate just how cushy their lifestyle is.
