yeah… I keep seeing the split in the last panel too. I think the space between words is just too big. I think it helps if you read it like William Shatner… Just. Turn. Left. 😀
I’m so happy I’m not the only one that remembers their directions this way. I can get around town just fine, but if a stranger asks me for directions they think I’m a tourist.
This kind of directions will be the only viable ones in the zombie apocalypse. Damaged roads, missing signs, etc. make navigation by road names impractical. “Turn right at the flaming pile of corpses with a skull flag on the top” is much more plausible.
At first I read panel 4 as “The continental divide is next to an abyss?” and thought yeah, well, what’s strange about that?
And once again, the dreaded last-balloon-word-split-issue strikes again. “Just left you house too bird turn when pass a many feeders.”

I’m not sure what your kindness has to do with your sense of direction, but OK.
I haven’t related this much to Bug in a long while. I hate when people try to give me directions based on streets.
Last square panel appears to be not-as-intended. Reads “I’m kind like an…”, probably meant to say “I’m kind OF like an…”
Oops! Good catch! Will fix.
People call while you’re driving, and you answer?…

“What road are you on?” “A paved one” sounds kind of like a Dad Joke to me.
My father used to give directions like tggat. Drove me crazy.
Love the comic and the title. One of my all time favorite songs!
So how many is too many bird feeders?
Any positive integer is too many feeders for the airborne rats.

This was just like me when driving the streets of Tokyo for 26 years!
