The paleo diet is a fad diet where people eat what they think cavemen ate, because clearly that’s what’s “natural” and therefore the most healthy for you. It involves no grains and no “highly processed” foods. It’s not actually any good for you unless it happens to eliminate something you’re allergic to.
It’s not related to palaeontology, in short. The bone thing is because cavemen in media club things with bones.
Did you miss the part where Adam specifically proclaimed he didn’t do any research before he drew the strip? And it’s not like there’s cause to doubt him, given precedence. I have a list.
I think it’s supposed to be “cavemen didn’t eat carbs so we shouldn’t either”. Except it’s been proven cavemen DID eat carbs. Lots of ’em. Suck it, Paleo research-not-doers!
Depends on which subgroup you are talking about. Most of them have mixed with the plainswalkers and the beachcombers over the millennia and form a solid percentage of modern hominids.
Heck I know one guy who extols the virtues of being a genetic throwback, barrel body, short arms and legs and the digestive track equivalent of a MrFusion.
I think this is the first time since the cat schedule comic from the first few weeks of Bug Martini’s inception that we’ve seen an animal without antennas…
Stop arguing, just whack the policeman! No further whacking required for the next three days…
Haha, paleo diet. Paleontologist. I see what you did there.
Yet another unresearched definition! Always fun to see these, Adam.

This… is pretty much spot-on, actually.

But, aren’t cavemen (and cavewomen) extinct? Not the best role models, if you ask me.
They aren’t, but caves have terrible WiFi, so they never post.

That pig is adorable
What about the pig that does have trust issues? Can i eat them?
Sure, but you gotta catch it first so you can club it.
The people who came up with it didn’t do any research either.

Hey, did you know there’s actually archeological evidence for cavemen committing canibalism?
Just a random fact, nothing else….
