Guest-Strips-apalooza!
Adios, everybody! I’m off to France. It’s gonna be two weeks of fun, relaxation, and capers. I mean, there’s always capers when Americans travel abroad. Heck, even the Muppets got pulled into one involving jewels and Charles Grodin. I’ll probably get assigned to some caper dealing with a Ming vase and Andy Dick.
In the meantime, I’ve asked a whole bunch of great webcartoonists to fill in while I’m gone. You guys are gonna love these strips! I’ve read them all and they made me realize just how talented they are and how replaceable I really am.
I’ll be back drawing what will most likely be a whole lot of “France-be-different-from-America” strips on September 14th.
Au revoir, amigos!
Enjoy your holiday. Looking for to your take on my European neighbours over the water. 🙂
Bon voyage, dude. Have a grand time!
lets just hope you aren’t taken
Have a great holiday mate. Should you stray into Belgium (the silly houses will be a giveaway) in search of a good pint do give a shout.
If you’re replaceable, why are the only two webcomics I’ve been following religiously Bug Martini and Calvin & Hobbes?
(And don’t you dare respond until you’re done holidaying!)
Pro tip: Especially in Paris, when you’re approached by anyone selling junk or the clipboard-wielding ‘donation’ seekers, if you say ‘No thank you’ they’ll just keep hounding you. Say ‘Nein, danke’ and they stop right away and leave you alone. Discovered this by happy accident last summer. 😀
Yes, we Germans are not to be messed around with. >=)
