My wife squeegees the shower every morning… I think it makes her feel more superior. I know I get the stink eye from her about it… but hey, if you don’t want to do it, get up and shower first.
This always annoyed me as a kid. I mean, on days when I’d rolled around in the mud so much that I was technically ‘decent’ in the period between taking my clothes off and getting into the bathtub, sure, there’s silt while the bath water is on its way out. But whenever my mother would make me wash the shower as a weekly thing, I was like “What do you mean, wash the shower? The only thin that happens in there is soap and water!”
Nowadays, I understand that the nature of body soap means that it does leave a residue that is unsanitary until eliminated with proper surface cleanser – and, on the flipside, that surface cleanser is not something you want to wash your body with.
