Thing I like best about Bug is that it's not a comic that builds up to a single punchline. The entire thing is funny, which is a much better way to do it.
Did we grow up together? Because I don't think there has been a reference in a single strip (and I have read every one at least once) that I haven't understood, remembered, laughed about it the past . . . You get my point.
Congrats on your award! Your name, in my opinion, will one day be grouped with greats like Bill Watterson, Gary Larson, Charles Schulz and Berkley Breathed.
Adam, really enjoy the subtle stuff you put in the strip. The Doc's "thumbs down" is just great! I can hear the "you lose" music from The Price Is Right in my head.
It’s official now I can't go through the week without this comic. All 4 panels was hilarious and I can't stop laughing. I love it how bug's bravery left him the last minutes.
grievel knievel…brilliant! I always laugh at your strips…and comics generally have a hard time amusing me. This was beautiful! Keep up the awesomeness. π
Panel two— FTW!!! LMAO

Grievel Knievel… Genius. That's all I can say.
+1 Truly inspired

Agreed!
Sad to say, if it were up to most of the people I work with, it would be a party. Complete with chicks and booze, too.
Agreed, but with Chippendale-like studlies, chocolates, and good celebratory champagne/wine.
Watch 1000 Ways to Die…. all sorts of interesting ways to die in there.
lovin the doctors 'thumbs down' way of condemning bug to death π
top quality strip you got there, adam π

Bug always makes me laugh, thank you.
Thank you very much!
Love the countdown in panel two.
As a future doctor, I fully plan to give my patients their poor prognoses via "thumbs down". Pretty hard to misinterpret that one…
Party Hats?…What about costumes?
There's no crying in planned suicide!!! you got snot on the jetpack!
This comic had me laughing pretty hard. In class.
Yeah, me too… xD I could not stop laughing when I saw the party hats xD!
HEHEHE, I want party hats AND the jet pack…

Wa-Wa-Wawaaaooo…
Love the sneaky "Logan's Run" movie "carrousel" renewal reference in Panel #3.
why is it with your comic the smallest details crack me up? The thumbs down in the first panel got me! so simple… but priceless.

I'm still giggling over "grievel-kinevil." I'm pretty sure this means I'm a bad, bad person.
The party hats totally made the entire strip.
I'm pretty sure this is something we've all thought about at some point in our lives.

He's only crying because he wont get to see his own badass send-off.
I love panel two. I suddenly burst out laughing during class when I remembered it.
My plan would be to set my car on fire, then drive off an overpass onto the freeway below. Go Big. Go Spectacular. Go traumatize children. π
Theoretically you could kill anyone you wish without getting arrested if you got there on time. Of course, it depends on if you want to kill somebody.
Giggled through each panel, busted out laughing at “Grievel Knievel!” You are so funny, Adam!
I’d spend my last hours at my school, because when I’m there, it feels like an eternity.
