Halloween isn’t real big in my country normally only a few kids show up. “Trick or treat” gets a little lost in translation too, so it’s “candy or trouble” in my language. I love answering “hmm.. I pick trouble” and then just stand there and watch the “wait, what?!?”-expression on their faces. I normally crack up in a big grin and say “nah, just yanking your chain a bit” and give them some candy anyway, but I like the idea of Halloween being scary and I’m sure I’m building up a reputation as “Don’t go to that house, he says weird stuff!”
For the price of one ostrich egg($10-40), you could DEFINITELY buy a lot of candy. The last panel alone contains $50-200 worth of visible eggs. THIS… is a rich kid’s trick.
Whenever we used to trick or treat we would get asked to do tricks before we got the treats. I used to “tombstone” my little brother or juggle the sweets we had gotten from previous houses.
And for added measure, eat the candy slowly with your mouth open.
Pretty sure ostrich eggs would break the windows.
Ya, you can stand on them without breaking them. Does Bug have so many enemies he needs bullet proof acrylic windows?
I think you already answer your own question….
If you are going to Egg a house for a bad trick. Go Big!

I wouldn’t be brave enough to say “Trouble”.
The ghost costume reminds me of the Charlie Brown ghost costume with all the holes. For some reason. And Charlie Brown would buy ostrich eggs.
Charlie Brown has antennae?
I do frame #2 anyways. It my favorite part of Halloween.
The ghost kid bug in the last frame is soooooooo cute! I LOVE it!!!!
I want it as a pet 🙂
I’m not going to lie, I expected the title to be “Hallomean.”
At least if we do it this way, we get to actually eat all the candy we buy for Halloween. I call that a success, eggs or no eggs.
Ooo! That would’ve worked too.
what you do is wait till they close there blinds or shutters and then spray pain the windows black so wen they open them in the morning they freak out
spray paint* dang keyboard is laggin today
Unless they’re a Rolling Stones fan!
“A little severed thumb action for ya,” love it, I’m trying that.

My “trick” was pulling a 9mm out of my Spider-Man costume.
…I got ALL the candy, after that!* 🙂
*kidding…. I was Superman.
Not how trick-or-treating works; they’re blackmailing you. They’re saying “give us candy or we’ll get ya!”
