I’ll admit that I had to look up what a caduceus is (a winged rod with two snakes wrapped around it). However… well, to quote Wikipedia: “The caduceus is sometimes mistakenly used as a symbol of medicine and/or medical practice, especially in North America, because of widespread confusion with the traditional medical symbol, the rod of Asclepius, which has only a single snake and no wings.”
Oh well, the caduceus looks way cooler, which I think would appeal to nerdbug anyway.
Doctors and nurses (like me!) wash their hands A LOT. That helps us to not get sick as much as you’d think. You’d be surprised the places that germs hide out. Basically everywhere so…..WASH YOUR HANDS!
My old doctor cancelled TWO appointments on me for being sick, then shutdown her practice. Given she was probably diabetic, I fear I was watching a very nice lady die or something.
Adam (I hope you see this), I’m trying to write you an email regarding starting my own webcomic , but when I click on “contact” it starts up Outlook and I want to just send it to you via my Yahoo email. Can you provide an email address somehow? Thanks!
Outlook will display the address in the “send to” line. Or you open the contact page as a new tab, then you can read “mailto:” in the tab’s URL.

Ewww indeed. Couldn’t she have taken some blood?
O, first. And second.
I would have probably taken urine, myself. It just seems way easier.
My mom calls in sick easily and she’s a nurse xD

Is it weird that I knew about both of them at the age of 12? I tried to draw them too, but I can’t even draw a straight line. o_O
Ah! But remember, that’s Wikipedia there you’re referencing.
Dear god, how I wish I could ‘like’ this comment.
No, I’m pretty sure Wikipedia is reliable in this instance.
Pretty sure Wikipedia is the third most reliable site on the internet (behind Snopes and Cracked.com)
I’m an EMT he is correct. It’s the single snake.
I was oddly amused by the Hospital Gown Bug shuffling past the background of Panel Two…
😀
as do I (^_^)
I don’t think I’d ever feel the urge to fish around my colleagues’ stool – maybe because I’m not a doctor, but still…
I would think doctors get sick often. They’re around sick people all day…

Wash yo hands, if you must…
I like his golfing outfit. Especially his little bow tie.
And the way his antennas stick out of the top of his golf “beret”!
Gotta also love the gowned bug with the IV stand in panel 2.
He’s the doctor.
Bow-ties are cool.
‘Oh, but, as it turns out, you DO have cancer. So. Enjoy your day off!’
Hospital Gowned Shuffling Bug in the background is an awesome touch. As for checking co-workers stool samples…uh…no.

Can’t come into work today. No, I’m not sick, Slenderman is stalking me.
Yawn, too tired to think of something witty to say. Nice iron/driver nerd bugs got. (not sure which it is)
I can’t wait for the sequel to this strip: Hooker Healy
I suddenly want to be a doctor so I can just write on post-it notes to get out of doing things I’d rather not do…..
Their student loans usually kept their attendance pretty damn good.
