The day before christmas, buying gifts, my nephew is in the boy scouts and recently got an axe certificate, so I went to the sporting goods store in the mall to buy him an axe.
The clerk asked if I wanted a bag for the axe, so I replied “Nah, I’ll just chase people around the mall with the axe”.. He then suggested dressing up as santa first. “Honey, remember the year we were chased by mad santa with an axe??”.. I the end we agreed that a bag for the axe might be a good idea.
Five minutes later I’m in a toy store to get some pink thingy for my niece. The place is filled with annoyed parents waiting in line, borderline psychotic parents at the wrapping table, screaming kids, crying kids, electronic gizmos spouting various noises trying to drown out the insanely happy muzak from the PA system, basically my version of hell on earth.
I’m honestly amazed that I managed to summon enough will power to refrain from pulling out the axe and start swinging..
There is an ages old method where the pattern is printed and then transferred onto the clay. I am not sure if anyone has developed a printer system for custom tile work as yet?
Aaaa someone has done it and even has a website called ceramicprinting.
So much for that moneymaking scheme.
You have to perfect your smiling mouth/glaring eyes expression for those shows. It is possible to get ideas for what you might want to do, just don’t get too serious with them while there.
… and you came up with a topic that she expected the least.
Often enough you read in dating ads: “I want a man who is able to surprise me.”
BAM, there you have it. Well done. 😀

Site’s loading like crap recently.
Huh, so it’s not just me?
There’s been a really noticeable difference for the last… (I can’t time. Few days? Weeks? My god, what year is it!?)
Coupled with Australia’s crappy broadband, and I now occasionally abandon the loading attempt.
Though, you know, I’m sure Adam’s already all over it. (Server murder-suicide anyone?)
I thought I’d heard Australia has some of the fasted internet on the planet – to make up for all the deadly flora and fauna down there.
Good old Europe doesn’t notice a difference yet.
Sorry to hear that! The new site update should be coming soon so I’m hoping it’ll fix all that.
Hmmm… wonder if it’s possible to 3D-print the enamel on tiles.
How about a game-board like tile-set where you can make a path on the floor that leads you down to a tile with an outhouse on it near the toilet.
There can be a fork in the path with a sign that says ‘Choose wisely’ – on fork leads to the loo and the other to the shower.
