the first panel (and 1st half of second) reminds me of that Tiny Toons episode “Her Wacky Highness” (had to look it up) where the class is taught “cartoon logic” – e.g. walking on thin air. XP

I don’t think toons ever get those sort of diseases. If they ever do get a disease, it’s usually comical and non-lethal.
