I visited this ‘Comic Rocket’ site mentioned on Friday.
I’m not sure how website revenue is generated, exactly, but there were 10 instances on that site; 4 Social media trackers, 3 Google trackers and 3 advertisements.
Silvestri fan? The man’s got over a hundred scoring credits! My iTunes has Romancing the Stone, Back to the Future, Delta Force, Predator, Roger Rabbit, Abyss, Soapdish, Death Becomes Her, Forrest Gump, Grumpy Old Men, Contact, Volcano, Mummy Returns, Night at the Museum, Captain America, Avengers and The Walk. (You like Predator? Check out Volcano.)
Okay… “Dark Arts” got me thinking… Wouldn’t “Dark Arts” as a cartoonist be more likely a naughty cartoon? And that got me thinking about an adult version of BugMartini. …and that made me laugh. Bug Porn would be hilarious! 😀 …and no I don’t really want any. I’m happy with my imagined version. Great comic to start the week!
I kinda picture a 1950’s style Femlin with the characters at the same scale but not sure how it would be adulted up. Heck, it is hard enough pretending to adult as one gets older.
“CD”
“Old fashioned technology”
Thanks for making me feel old, Adam.
Been reading for a while, by the way. Just mostly via the “Random” button, which means every so oftencI find a new old one (?), which keeps your comic exciting.

I think C-R is scooping revenue on your back.
Huh. Thanks for the scoop. I’ll have to look into that.

that’s a link to a bunch of webcomic people complaining about comet rocket.
Yeah, you really should’ve just bought a CD instead of renting it on iTunes.

Nice! You gotta check out Ricochet too.
Ricochet purchased. And Father of the Bride. (Yes, and FotB-II, sigh…)

Admittedly, I DID consider a dirty version of Bug Martini for Patreon subscribers, but quickly dismissed that idea.
A week of that on Patreon would certainly be interesting.
“I’m not bad. I’m just drawn that way.”
Cool World
Roger Rabbit
You could just email Tim Cook.
Any other Alan Silvestri fans out there? Pfff… who isn’t?
I have no idea who that is.
You might not recognize his name, but you’d probably recognize at least some of his music. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0006293/
ROFL
I like how Glasses Bug is very casual about the whole mess.
That last frame gets the irony award: dissing “old fashioned technology” while fending off zombies with swords & knives.
Swords and knives don’t have to be reloaded.
I think most of us had no idea how much we like his music
For what it’s worth, it’s not on Google Music either, and you don’t need dark arts to ask Google’s boss ;p

But the Dark Ages ADVANCED medical science. You’re thinking of a second FEUDAL Age.
Alan Silvestri is great, but the master of movie scores will always be Basil Poledouris.
