Even just a few repeated listenings to that album results in hippies living their entire lives in sync with it. The guitar solo from Time is still man’s best attempt to communicate with the whales.
As popular as the third panel is, I think that the fourth panel has a certain charm of its own. It shows an office worker who’s clearly not a hippie displaying some attraction to at least one aspect of hippie life.
And communicated with just one simple line: “Well, this’ll gimme a reason to buy some.”
They can put me in a suit, sure, but when I’m working late and everyone else has gone home I damn well put my tie around my head and they can never take that away from me!
These comics always bring me up when I’m down. That’s why I put them last on my roster. Saving the best for last.
Third panel… did hippie bug do it consciously or is that kind of thing embedded in the hippie psyche?
I figured he did it on purpose, but I like your notion that he did it without knowing it. Like, it was the will of the hippie force.

I don’t work with any hippies but panel three is the winner LOL
Anyone else hear Hippie Bug’s voice in panel 2 as Otto the bus driver on The Simpsons?
What is heard cannot be unheard…
I was never much of a Simpson’s fan, so I “heard” Tommy Chong’s voice. And like you said, I can’t un-hear it.
I don’t know about you guys but I heard his voice word for word as Creed Bratton from The Office.

Very well executed, Adam!
Thanks!
Groovy, man, that excel sheet is grooooooovy!
But the title! Didn’t anyone else catch the Office Space allusion?
