I live on a hill, next to a cemetery. but we are both at the top, looking down on the town. Its ok though, we are on the emergency helicopter flight path which could be handy in a zombie apocalypse.
another way to make good use of the dead
you’ll be pleased to know that I’ve taken it as a personal misson to spread the word of bug in my area, the people must be told!
Your comic has filled a void left in my soul when Watterson stopped producing Calvin and Hobbes.
Your stuff usually makes me laugh out loud and that is so rare these days. The way you write and your style of joke telling reminds me a lot of a friend I had in high school who was a good artist and writer and I usually end up seeing him sitting there, drawing Bug and coming up with the humor. That’s probably why I love this strip so much!
Adam, I think you should have a disclaimer: “Please swallow any liquids or thoroughly chew and swallow any foods before reading the following comic… failure to do so may cause damage to keyboards and/or egos.”
You could also thwart the zombies by standing at the top of the hill and rolling bowling balls down, just incase gravity didn’t get them first time round.
I know a cemetery that’s built partially on a hill, but the hill flattens out into a section that’s easily crossable for zombies. What’s more is that the fence is 8-10 feet tall with spikes on top, the gates are even taller and lock securely, and there’s people who live inside the gates. So pretty much if the zombie apocalypse spreads to there, those people are scroooooooood.
What’s bad about the partially-hilly cemetery is that all the headstones/footstones are either funky designs that would screw up a sled, or they’re set straight up even if they’re on the hill, providing a disappointing lack of ramps. So generally, the cemeteries near here are bad for being comparable to Bug, but they’re awesome to wander around in at night.
I found this very offensive and rude. Cemeteries are for the respectful burial of a loved one. not for some one or something in this case to mock it’s existence.
Wow! Esther Gildowitz is my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandma! She was bad for launching sleds airborne in real life as well.
Too many greats.
Awww! Little Bug is so cute (even when contemplating the use of tombstones as ramps). 🙂
There’s actually a church not far from where I live that has a cemetery on hill.
Wow, actually???
The last panel made me choke on my Dr. Pepper, Well done indeed. 😀 bd

I would kill to see a zombie movie where the zombies rose from the ground and screamed out “sumbitch.”
It’d be pretty disgusting when it rains though. The water from the hill would flow underground, to your drinking water.
That’s not how the drinking water reserves work.
You mean Norman Needleham the inventor of the improvised sledding ramp?
“SUMBITCH!”
Nearly cost me a new keyboard – nice work Adam!
Except the way it works in real life you’d have to be a pallbearer UP hill
Just make sure to rush any dying people to the top of the hill.

Thanks a lot!
“Nothin’ but grave”. Genius.
Last panel – GOLD!
Thanks for making my Monday start with a laugh!
This is definitely one of your funniest strips. Each panel is truly laugh out loud funny.
I laughed SO HARD. My roommates and I keep saying “nothing but grave” LOL!
Sa-WEET!
Coffin surfing USA
The only downside (get it?) I can think of is one good rain and it’s Poltergeist.

Keep up the great work!
Oh yeah, SUMBITCH!!!
Thanks! That really means a lot to me.
Best one in a while, this is hilarious.
weird, there’s a graveyard in town that everyone does go sledding on.
Thats messed up and a ittle disrespectful imo
The last panel made me laugh right out loud. *wants a zombie Bug with a pull string that says “sumbitch!” now*
Most cemetaries I am aware of are built on hillsides… then again, this is new england. everything is a hillside.
Always thinking, Adam! Yet one more way to thwart the zombie invasion.
Adam, I think you should have a disclaimer: “Please swallow any liquids or thoroughly chew and swallow any foods before reading the following comic… failure to do so may cause damage to keyboards and/or egos.”
Heck no. One of my favorite things to do when I was growing up was to make my friends laugh and spit out their drink.
Man, my first thought when I saw the title was ” It could be used against zombies”. I don’t know whether to be proud or ashamed.
Both 😛
You sire, are my new hero!
Amazing!
HEHE..
Well Done 🙂

BWA-HA-HA!

0.o; Why in the world would anybody live in a cometary? Creeeeepy. Something tells me they’d be looking forward to zombies or be responsible … xD
I love the play on words in the title!

I too am offended. I will chat with Jesus about having this website deleted.
…This comic had Hitler as a background character in a few strips (the ones about movies).
sigh….anyone else sick of zombie popularity yet?
Nope.
Zombie-Bugs are funny though, and I hate zombies. Adam does a good job with them, despite their over use in the media.
Also, Zombies don’t scare me. They lurch and can be smelled in advance for a good distance. To me they are simply mummies without clout. xD
Dangit Adam, I’m sick of cleaning my screen! When will I learn not to read big at the table….
Haha!
