I hear that vegan poetry is almost as bad as Vogon poetry.
Pfah. Unappreciative turlingdrome.
I laughed more about the comment for the comic than about the comic. Weird oO
Well, vegan poets have to work at a disadvantage:
1) They have no skin in the game
2) They can’t take the bull by its horns
3) They can’t cut down to the meat
4) They can’t put their heart into it
5) They can’t spill their guts into it
6) They can’t milk the work of the greatest for inspiration
7) They can’t jump start their career by writing Twilight fan-fiction
Haha! All valid points.
I’m sorry, you misspelled “Vogan”. Which would make anyone walk off a cliff.
Reference: Vogon poetry is a variety of poetry, often considered to be one of the worst in the universe. … Vogon poetry is, of course, the third worst in the universe.
So long! And thanks for all the fish!
(You may want to look at the comment Adam wrote beneath the comic)
This is topical.
Just yesterday I read in a newspaper (<- I know!) about a lady who died at 92 and worked at her original job up until that day.
Then, two obituaries down, about a guy who died at 42 from cancer.
That pisses me off. One could have exited 30 years ago. The other never got the opportunity. 🙁
Wait a minute! You read a newspaper?!
What is a newspaper? A googling I go. Wow, that is ancient. 😛
I like the Roxette reference in the title! (And I’m astonished that I actually get a reference you made!)
