and iirc theres actually current research into developing lenses for digital imagery that’s supposed to be sort of do something similar to what was in blade runner, except the images would have to be digital files not chemical prints on chemical film surfaces…
Being a bit of a graphics geek, it bugs me too. Especially when they take dark, super low res images and magically pull an identifiable, super clear facial from the black mass at the edge. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THE PERSON WAS THERE IN REAL LIFE, IF HE'S NOT THERE IN THE ORIGINAL IMAGE HE WON'T BE THERE IN THE ENHANCED ONE!!!!
