Bwahaha! I must admit I have a fondness for Catan as it was the game that introduced me to the concept of more strategic board games, but now I’m in a proper boardgame club I never play it anymore as there’s better games out there where you don’t win or lose based on how the dice roll. (I.e my mother always found that if she put her settlements on an 8 space everyone would roll 6 all game and vice versa)
I think this is the first time I’ve felt bad for glasses-bug!
He shouldn’t have built a settlement there. It’s his own fault.
It seems like a deliberate choice to me.
He had it coming for a while now.
Panel three:
That idea alone made me cringe…

Don’t like the change in the RSS feed. Can we get normal-sized images back there, please?
Huh. Didn’t even know the RSS feed changed. Sorry ’bout that. I’ll look into it.
Starting from yesterday, it looks OK. Thank you.
I take it you’re feeling better…?
At the prices I’ve seen for Settlers of Catan, there’s no way I chuck it into arrived.
Damn you, Autocorrect! A river! There’s no way I would throw Catan into a river.
You know, there’s an electronic version of SoC, these days. Don’t know how good it is, but it exists.
Sounds fun, I might give it a go sometime.
When you throw it in the river, does it go “VZZZZT?”
You know how everyone starts the game with two points, and the winner is the first to get to ten points?
Well, I played a game with two friends, and one of my friends got so many favorable rolls that he easily won with a final score of 10 to 2 to 2.
All I have to ask:
Do you Catan?
I love that Glasses Bug is in a wheelchair. Guess Bug wasn’t making idle threats in Panel Three!
