Oooh! Sideshow Theme. I love it! You should do a whole “Carny” themed week! I love the dark mustache on the “Barker Bug” in the last panel. Also the little derby on the “Juggler Bug”. And is it just me, or does “Bearded Lady Bug” somewhat resemble God Bug? Just a little bit. If you squint.
Usually you juggle indian clubs or just plain clubs, quite different from bowling pins. I had three actual bowling pins from a bowling alley that I juggled for a while, but those things are heavy. Dropped one on my knee and messed it up for a couple weeks.
No, Jake. I got my first can of barbasol my first day of boot camp in 1967. It looks like the girl bug is wearing a mask. I think that because of the band around the back of her head to hold the mask on. A mask to hide a deformity.
I think now that it is a band for a pony tail but in view of the sideshow theme, I thought she might be a circus freak.
Penn Jillette? As in the Penn of Penn & Teller? I thought he hated juggling acts. Never would have assumed he was a juggler. But then again, don’t really follow magic.
Yep, that Penn. And he is indeed a juggler (does it with flaming sicks, broken bottles, ect.) You can find plenty of videos of him doing it on Youtube.

I could see it, if God Bug was a transvestite. Or maybe that whole “God is no/both gender(s)” thing.
The image of God Bug being a transvestite made me choke on my coffee. Now I want to make an animated bug version of Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Great job, and well placed movie reference : )

Do not toss the Apple, be the Apple.
Big Lol on bringing up this random issue. Great start to December.
Nice third panel… 😉 Greetings from Greece.
I’m not sure I understand the fourth panel. Is that a mask to hide a deformity?
To Dave Dell, it’s a brand of shaving cream.

barbasol is a shaving cream
Giving sensei a clown nose was a brilliant touch. Love it, as always!
Second pannel made me choke on my noodles.
I love how little accessories change the bugs completely. Your art is so simple, yet able to convey so many different things. It’s really cool!
This is fantastic. The idea is brilliant and the sensei clown is awesome.
As a rule I no more eat or drink anything while visiting this site. Adam, you should have a choking advisory at the top. Hilarious comic as usual.
Adam, I sent the link to this comic to Penn Jillette over twitter (he’s a professional juggler), and he thougth it was great.
Aw cool! Thanks, man!
