Nope. None of those things are even slightly interesting. That said, I’m not overweight because of my sugar lack-of-interest. Can’t walk past chips or say no to beer…
You’re right. That’s not, strictly, a sugar addiction. Your addiction appears to be a bit broader than simply “sugar”. You wouldn’t, I presume, eat a bowl of sugar on its own. By my estimates, you’re addicted to simply “treats”. If someone was able to make, say, a donut brand that was completely sugar-free, yet tasted EXACTLY the same as the donuts you enjoy by all measures, you’d enjoy the donuts just for the flavor.
This is true, thank you for correcting me. But the point remains: if it was indistinguishable from the sugary article to anyone who had one of each sitting before them unlabelled, Adam would eat it regardless of its sugar content, thus his addiction is not strictly to sugar.

Dang, I’m looking forward to those tassels twirling.
What would you do for a Klondike Bar?
Mr. Huber for a Klondike bar would you wear your baby daughters diaper and suck on a pacifier?
Judging by the comic, the answer is probably “Scream YES before they can finish asking the question”

And texture, a good part of a donut’s appeal is the texture.
