So lady bug has taken a few acting lessons from beatnik bug huh. I hear a certain insurance company needs a new spokesbug. Or maybe she should audition for two and a half bugs?
Me too. Sadly I laughed at work at a most inappropriate time; a colleague was telling another about her horrible weekend. Oh well, Bug is so totally worth the icy stares that I am now getting. Tee hee!
Haha, nice. I've actually been in some talent shows (in fact I'm doing one next weekend) showing off the results of a lifetime of nerdiness, toy collecting and procrastination: namely, the ability to transform complicated Transformers toys blindfolded. Which, let me tell you, isn't nearly as useful in every day life as you'd think.
Nerd bug's greatest talent is either being able to keep his glasses on his head (despite having no ears) or cloning himself (because I'm pretty sure dad bug is taller than that.)
Before I read Lady Bug's comment in the fourth panel, I thought "Wait, isn't that Bug's impression of a deflating balloon?" Well, I guess that impression is a one-size-fits-all sort of thing.
Another great comic! Man, I wish I could do that for 4 hours straight.
Wrong. His name was Luke Starkiller.
I do believe that was a joke
Thank you, though. SW nerds around the world, represent!
you are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!!
it was luke starkiller
No, he’s talking about the VERY VERY first draft. The secret one that was never made public. It’s all very hush-hush.
Aw… How am I supposed to top that? Aw!!.
"Fare too well" possibly?
Oops. You're right. Good catch. Will fix.
i guess the only talent Bug has is a deflating balloon. Even if he doesn't mean to.
He is an impressionist. It takes a lot of talent to pretend your something that your not.
panel 1: "too well"

I will never be tired of the deflating balloon impression. It is the best thing that has ever happened in this comic.
I never tire of it, either. I laughed so hard when I saw lady bug say that. 🙂

Apply that skill to bomb diffusion and you have a high paying job! =D
Awesome strip, but I have a few questions:
In panel 1, were you thinking the Mixalot version, or the Jonathon Coulton version?
Also, did you think of the deflating balloon line before or after you drew the comic?
Finally, why not try rake balancing in the talent show?
…they should so have stuck with Lenny Laserpants

You used the wrong "too" in the first panel. Ouch.
The last panel is the best.
Too*
Love the comic though
Excessive screwing around would make him a GREAT contestant on Minute to Win It though.
So what was Luke Skywalker's original name?
read comment #2.
All I know is now I must have some Laserpants…
Bug needs new friends.
I now need to see a recording of an accordion version of baby got back.

Brilliant. You always come up with new ways to make me laugh. Keep up the good work Adam!
oooooh.
THAT Old Faithful.
at first i thought of the dog and that impression didn't make any sense at all.
return of the deflating balloon lol,
malfunctioning toilet? thats full of… oh i get it!
So true. Just so true.
haha, I love how you took the comment from the last inflating balloon part and stuck it here… You’re awesome.
But you knew that already…
