Additionally, that first panel with the card puncher reminds me of the old Looney Tunes shorts with Ralph the Coyote and Sam the Sheepdog where the punch clock was always outside on a tree by the sheep pastures.
I would think a day shift vampire would be sneaking into vampires’ lairs to kill them in their sleep. The video game Boktai even has players dragging their coffins into daylight to do it.
According to the earliest vampire lore, sunlight doesn’t kill them, just makes them weaker. So technically, day-shift hunters can still look badass while fighting, they just have an advantage.
Unfortunately, the day shift mainly deals with filling out the masses of paperwork that goes along with vampire-slaying (long story short: BORING).

Isn’t it ‘sweep well’ rather than ‘sweep good’, or am I missing something again?

All the same. I’ll take the day shift.

That’s when you pose over the ashes and wait for villagers to pass by. It’ll look like you did it.
Tanned Helsing! Epic!
The stakes are certainly higher at night
Okay, I’ll bite. Where are the bloody puns at?
Nice one 😀
Good grief, somebody besides me actually remembers Van Helsing?
less-than-three panel 2. That poor sweet vampire!
If an artichoke was a vampire could you kill it by driving a steak through its heart?
Look, I know my puns suck, but I’m just not going to stop.
But hunting vampires takes a bite out of crime!
