Worry about your kid dying? Completely understandable. Worry about your kid dying in their sleep? After a certain age, that should be reserved for those with dangerous occupations (read: intelligence agents),addictions to depressant substances, or residence in hostile locations.
Right. I forgot to give a tl:dv for the 3 1/2 minute video. It’s code that takes a video feed and amplifies minor changes in color or motion, so that via camera you can monitor that your infant still breathes and has a pulse.
I proposed a solution to the worry about having your children die before you, but the authorities said it was “too dark” and “encouraging suicide” and deleted my Wikihow article.
Father of three here. I bounce between “Thank the gods they’re finally down!” and “it’s too quiet; what’s wrong?” More than once when they were playing in their room I came into the room to see if they were still alive, only to find them calmly and happily playing.
She stopped? My oldest just turned 20 and I still worry.

I feel you. My kids are 7 and 5, and we check on them every night.
Got over it when time passed with 100% success. I also realized they were recharging and I wasn’t.
