As always, the attention to detail is the selling point of this webcomic. Having the “HUMIDIFIERS” label on a featureless box truly drives the point home!
No, no, it was left behind by the firemen who were called upon to put out the fire that resulted from inept children/spouses who attempted to cook dinner.
Also, I had NO idea that humidifiers were so much in demand by mom’s. Also (part 2) I think my mom would’ve LOVED a gravy boat bedazzling kit!
No, that’s not a fire-ax. It is double bladed making it a battle ax. Firemen use either a single sided ax or one with a pick on the back side, not double bladed.

But seriously, funny as always.
OK, I missed the humidifier joke.
It’s a sign on an empty shelf after all the humidifiers were bought in the ‘run’
How does one manage to embed an axe in a cabinet whilst cooking dinner? And can I get in on that?
Something needed cutting, and biggest knife is best knife.
So… You people generally keep battleaxes around the house? And if so, can I have one?
You can pick one up pretty cheap.

I am amazed.
I know what to get for Fathers’ day now!
Yes SSP40, right next to the scythe… No, I’m not joking.

As a firefighter, I approve your response.
I imagine they were cooking like this guy:

The gravy boat bedazzling kit made me literally laugh out loud when I needed a laugh. Thank you again, Adam!
Those firemen were also pretty inept because the cabinet is still on fire.
Aww, I wanted to see him do the rest of the original star wars trilogy
