Have you ever had a puppy, Adam? My family has had five dogs raised from puppies, and the yard is such that I can’t get out without a three-point turn. It’s a miracle we haven’t run over any of them, the way they run right up behind us while we’re backing up a pickup truck. Suicidal behaviour does not an unpetlike pet make.
Turtles are both faster and more suicidal than you’d think. Ours managed to climb out of a tank and drop to the floor (about a 4.5ft drop). It could also climb stairs.
Is that the same turtle that took forever to pack a bindle?

Kind of sounds like you should fence off the driving area. I’d hate for someone to run over a beloved dog by accident.
In the fourth panel, there’s an “I” missing from that “suicidal”.
Also in the fourth panel “Isn’t (it) hard…”
Is the parakeet in panel 2 really dead or is it just shagged out after having a long squawk?
Its just pining for the fjords.
How about a pet rock?
Or Real Bull$#!{ ™ – yes it was a real thing on the shelves back in the 90s
I wanted to comment “Isn’t it isn’t it?” but you already fixed it. :/
