The Bug with the baseball hat scratching his butt in panel 2 was a nice touch.
Jetpack technology HAS been perfected. It was perfected back in the ’60s. We don’t use them because they’re noisy, impractical gas-guzzlers.
That doesn’t really sound perfected, does it? They were invented then, sure 😛 Some working prototypes, that’s all!
And therefor not perfect yet!
It’s the future, now.
We’re getting better.
Yikes! Aren’t jetpacks supposed to have some kind of controls? Maybe this one is controlled telepathically with a mind probe conveniently hidden under either a Super Dave Osborne helmet, reversed ball cap, or Monopoly hat.
{and I do like the inline burp brackets!}
What, Cool Bug doesn’t get the latest and best?
Being that cool costs a lot of money… So there’s no way he could afford a new one.
Expresses my feeling, every time my rich cousin gets a new phone as i am stuck with my 5 year old one, that keeps dying
Man, can you imagine the kind of paperwork and licensing that will be required though? I mean, atleast three times what it takes to get a car.
Meh. A Sport Pilot License in the least. 20 hours of training. 5 solo. And a sign off.
So far, none. Jetpacks are so small that they are unregulated.
heh, I cant wait to tell call someone an earth walker and ask him/her to dance. muhuhahah (rubbing hands gleefully)
Thats an excellent top hat by the way…
Meanwhile in New Zealand…

Adam, today’s comic was full of win. I laughed at every panel!
Have you heard about the Water Jet Pack? Limited, but still pretty awesome: http://youtu.be/im1iNq02Kz0
Third panel FTW
Oddly enough, I just read a book today that mentioned Chuck Yeager.
90’s Bug finally got his jetpack 😮
Jet packs always seem like they’re going to burn your feet off.
I love the scientist in the first one. All “Hey, this one’s not blowing up.” Win!
They’ll get cheaper.
