Ah, I remember the plot point where Wolverine convinced Kitty Pryde not to smoke. I mean, it was, like a one page, and the point of it was actually to show Wolverine having a mentor role to the younger X-Men, and he just basically said, “Sure, kid, try the cigar”, and “and THAT’S why you don’t smoke if you don’t have healing factor lungs.”
I love wolverine bug! That turned out perfect. I knew it was Storm right away, but I do admit I spent a couple minutes trying to figure out if she had wings lol.
Actually, a mutant’s DNA really isn’t modified. They’re born that way. Mutants like Wolverine were modified, like with the adamantium covering his skeleton, but he was born with the healing.
Emphysema or not, you could probably repel many enemies with smoker’s breath. Especially if you add coffee breath.

I initially went with the Mohawk but figured not as many people would remember Storm with a Mohawk. Plus, it looked so 90s.
